About Institute

Tilak Education Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1890 & Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950 was founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated, well experienced and dynamic personalities in the field of Education. It strongly believes that investment in quality care and education of young minds represent a significant investment in the future well being of our society.

The journey for excellence in education which started way back in 1984 has successfully led to the establishment of yet another temple of education, The Tilak Junior college Nerul in July 2005. The college is located in the serene environs of Nerul in a sprawling complex, with greenery all around. It's accessible by road from all sides and has NMMT Bus and Train stoppage at stones throw distance.

Medium / Board / Courses Offered

The college has both Commerce and Science and is giving the option of Information Technology in both science as well as commerce instead of Hindi or as an optional subject. It follows curriculum as per the Maharashtra state board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education.

Office Timing for the Students

On all working days the office timing for the students will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. during the terms of the college. However fee will be accepted from 9.00 a.m. to 12 p.m. only. During vacation, office timing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. only. The college office will remain closed on all Sundays and Public Holidays announced by the Government of India and Government of Maharashtra.

College Timings

Regular lectures for all the classes will be held from 12.00 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. Students are expected to be in the college premises at least 5 minutes before the commencement of the lecture/ practical to maintain punctuality.
